Starting during my run after work, I have been getting Charlie Horses in my abdomen all evening. I’m not sure if you’ve ever experienced this before but it’s the oddest sensation. Unlike in the calves, where Charlie Horses essentially cripple you, a Charlie Horse in the abdomen doesn’t hurt. It is also really interesting to watch. Out of no where, you get a small indentation in your abdomen. It looks like an invisible finger is pressing into you, yet it feels like there’s a string on the inside of the abdomen wall pulling toward the center of your body. Crazy sensation! The fact I’ve been getting this muscle cramp all evening probably means I need potassium, but for the time being it’s entertaining. Maybe I’ll eat a banana in the morning.
