Resolution? No. An action plan, if you will.

I’m not one for resolutions, but I am all about accomplishing a set goal. Last year my objectively-measurable fitness goal was to do 30 consecutive days of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. While I am proud to admit I accomplished my fitness feat, I must say I spent all of February and two days of March hating Jillian.

Enough of last year though, this year I have two fitness goals. One objectively measurable and one not-so objectively measurable. The first goal is Janathon. This can go one of two ways. Janathon may be a great success, or my arthritic joints will cripple my efforts. The second goal is to run the Lincoln (half) Marathon. This marathon goal is somewhat dependent on Janathon because I think Janathon will really determine whether my joints (namely my hips) can tolerate consistent running.

So those are the goals and here is the blog that will help document my success (or, I suppose, my failure).
